HE CAME!

Thinking back on the past year I reflect on the good as well as the bad. It is so easy to just blame God when things do not seem to go right, when shortcomings overshadow our lives and the night is long; when we seem to be in a place of lack and the tide of blessing seems to have gone out. You may have good days and not so good days, but take heart, be not downhearted, for the same Lord who brought you through when the tide was high will bring you through when the tide is low.

When things are going your way, it is right to be happy and praise God, it also right to lift up your voice in a sacrifice of praise when things are a bit tough. For when the time of blessing seems to be far away, remember it is God who made both abundance and lack. It is He who will bring the tide of blessing to wash over your life afresh. The Bible says in Psalm 103:2 (KJV), “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.” Remember His faithfulness and His eternal promises to you.
In the good times Job praised God and also through the tough times, for he said in Job 1:21 (NIV), “The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised.” I do not embrace hardship nor do I call it my closest friend, nor do I embrace sorrows or troubles or even disappointments. For I know even though I go through them, even though I walk through the valley of despair, He will open unto me a door of hope. I embrace His goodness and know He will turn things around for me, I embrace His eternal promises, and I know that through my God I shall gain the victory.

My friend, it is right to be happy for the Bible says in Psalm 144:15 (KJV), “Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.” For in God is my hope set, in good times or bad, abundance or lack, high tide or low.  Whatever state I find myself in, yet I will still praise Him, my Savior and my God. For the night will not last forever, the tide of His blessing is turning in my favor. He who made both my good times and my not so good times is always with me, to help me develop and cause me to grow stronger in every area of my walk with Him. The shortcomings of life will only prove to strengthen my resolve to know Him more and increase my faith to believe God for greater things.

Ecclesiastes 7:14 (NIV) ~ When times are good, be happy but when times are bad, consider: God has made the one as well as the other.

You came from Heaven to Earth to show the way. From the earth to the cross my debt to pay. From the cross to the grave. From the grave to the sky. Lord I lift your name on high. I'm so glad I can say "HE CAME"!

So as a new year arrives remember, Happiness keeps U sweet, Trials make U strong, Sorrows keep U human, Failure keeps U humble, Success keeps u glowing & God keeps U going! Keep going! Happy New Year! . New is the year, New r the hopes & the aspirations, New is the resolution, New r the spirits & forever my warm wishes are for U. Have a promising & fulfilling New Year. Happy 2014! God Bless!
