Under the Chisel...

“These have come so that your faith – of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire – may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.” I Peter 1:7

Being under the chisel can be very painful but it is one of the ways that God has said he would mold us. During the spiritual growth process we are reminded that growth is necessary and sometimes painful. God often uses circumstances and situations in life to carve away the rough exterior in order to get at the beauty underneath. It is not an easy or comfortable process but one that is often necessary so that God can shape man into the image of His Son.

The growing process is what allows us to become the man or woman that God can use for His glory.
